Connecting Trinidad & Tobago Companies to Real Market Opportunities in Suriname and Guyana

Building on the success of the 2025 mission, SGCC will once again host and facilitate the TTMA Trade & Investment Mission to Guyana and Suriname, creating structured B2B engagement, market access support, and cross-border partnership opportunities across key growth sectors.
The TTMA Trade & Investment Mission to Guyana and Suriname is a regional business development platform designed to connect Trinidad and Tobago manufacturers and service providers with buyers, distributors, project partners, agencies, and private sector stakeholders across two fast-growing markets.
Hosted and facilitated by SGCC, the mission combines business briefings, curated B2B meetings, networking engagements, market visits, and institutional introductions to support tangible outcomes for participating companies.
As CARICOM economies continue to pursue deeper regional integration, private sector collaboration between Trinidad and Tobago, Suriname, and Guyana, has become increasingly important to strengthening regional supply chains, manufacturing capacity, investment flows, and cross-border business development.
Against a backdrop of rapid economic growth, infrastructure expansion, industrial development, and evolving energy opportunities across the region, the TTMA Trade & Investment Mission provides a practical platform for companies to move beyond conversation into direct business engagement. Through structured B2B meetings, market access facilitation, and on-the-ground networking, the mission is designed to support regional partnerships, distributorships, market entry, and long-term commercial collaboration across the Suriname-Guyana corridor and wider CARICOM market.
In 2025, SGCC organised and facilitated the TTMA Trade & Investment Mission to Guyana and Suriname in collaboration with the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers’ Association.
Key Outcomes:
300+ SGCC-curated B2B meetings
Cross-sector engagement across manufacturing, logistics, construction, retail, and food
US$300M+ in reported deal value
New market entries, distributorships, and joint ventures initiated
