Positioning for Opportunity: SGCC Trade Mission to SEOGS 2026
As Suriname’s energy sector continues its transition from discovery to development, the Suriname Energy, Oil & Gas Summit & Exhibition (SEOGS) 2026 is set to once again take center stage as the region’s premier energy platform. Hosted by Staatsolie from June 23-26 in Paramaribo under the theme “Unlocking Energy, Empowering Nations,” the event is expected to attract over 230 speakers, 260 exhibitors, 1,200 delegates, and more than 12,000 visitors.
Building on the success of its landmark participation in 2025, the Suriname-Guyana Chamber of Commerce (SGCC) is once again leading a dedicated trade mission and pavilion presence at SEOGS 2026. Last year’s inaugural SGCC Pavilion brought together 14 companies from Guyana and Suriname and delivered curated B2B engagements, high-level visibility, and meaningful cross-border partnerships - demonstrating the Chamber’s ability to translate presence into tangible outcomes.
For 2026, SGCC is expanding this approach, offering companies structured pathways to engage the market through tailored participation options. These include premium and co-exhibiting opportunities, trade mission participation with curated B2B meetings, and digital partnership options for companies seeking visibility without physical presence. Each package is designed to position businesses within a unified regional platform, supported by SGCC-led branding, targeted marketing, and on-the-ground coordination.
Beyond exhibition, SEOGS remains a critical space for engagement across the full energy value chain, from operators and license holders to contractors, service providers, and policymakers. With dedicated executive and technical forums, as well as expanded networking platforms, the event continues to serve as a gateway for companies looking to establish or deepen their presence in Suriname’s rapidly evolving energy market.
For SGCC members and the wider private sector, participation is not just about visibility; it is about strategic positioning. As Guyana and Suriname advance toward a more integrated energy corridor, platforms like SEOGS provide a direct line into emerging projects, partnerships, and procurement opportunities shaping the region’s future.
Through its trade mission, SGCC continues to play a central role in bridging markets, facilitating business connections, and ensuring that companies from both countries are not only present, but actively engaged, in one of the most dynamic energy frontiers globally.
