TTMA at IBC Guyana 2025: Driving Regional Trade and Investment

The Suriname-Guyana Chamber of Commerce (SGCC) is proud to spotlight the Trinidad & Tobago Manufacturers’ Association (TTMA) at IBC Guyana 2025. Founded in 1956, TTMA has been at the forefront of promoting and developing Trinidad and Tobago’s manufacturing sector, representing manufacturers, expanding markets, and fostering regional trade.

TTMA’s participation at IBC Guyana 2025 builds on a robust history of collaboration with SGCC, including the 2025 Trade and Investment Mission to Guyana and Suriname. The mission began with a virtual seminar on June 4, 2025, hosted jointly by SGCC and TTMA to prepare the delegation. Key speakers included Steven Debipersad (Suriname Business Forum), Navin Gangaram-Panday (RCFA), and Raoul Tjon Jaw Chong (SITA), providing insights on regulatory frameworks, cross-border trade, and investment opportunities.

The Guyana leg of the mission (June 10–11, 2025) at the Pegasus Corporate Centre featured 350+ B2B meetings across sectors including manufacturing, logistics, consumer goods, construction, ICT, and health & beauty. Highlights included the soft launch of Maraj Air Conditioning Guyana, marking a strategic regional expansion. The Suriname leg (June 13-14, 2025, Hotel Royal Torarica) included over 120 B2B meetings, connecting TTMA companies with local enterprises across manufacturing, food & beverage, construction, and retail. Together, the mission generated $300 million and counting in deals for Trinidad & Tobago companies.

TTMA members gain access to:

  • Expert-led panel sessions, workshops & roundtables

  • Curated B2B meetings and trade expo participation

  • Networking with regional and international investors and policymakers

  • Opportunities to showcase products and services to an international audience

As a valued BSO partner, TTMA members are offered an exclusive 15% discount on delegate passes, enabling broad participation and ensuring their businesses are well represented at this premier regional forum.

IBC Guyana 2025 continues to serve as a catalyst for regional trade, investment, and enterprise development, positioning TTMA and its members at the forefront of Caribbean business collaboration.
