The Suriname Guyana Chamber of Commerce (SGCC) proudly participated as an exhibitor at the Berbice Expo and Trade Fair 2024, held at the Welfare Ground, East Canje Berbice. Through a dynamic booth presence, SGCC showcased its commitment to fostering business growth, expanding its network, and representing member interests. The event’s theme, “Innovation in Oil, Gas, and Agriculture for a Sustainable Future,” provided SGCC with key networking opportunities, including productive liaisons with the Berbice Chamber of Commerce. Caribbean Airlines Expands Regional Connectivity with New Guyana-Suriname Route

Caribbean Airlines (CAL), a valued member of the Suriname-Guyana Chamber of Commerce (SGCC), is set to enhance regional connectivity with new flight options between Guyana and Suriname. Beginning November 3, CAL will increase its non-stop services to Suriname, adding two weekly flights from Guyana’s Eugene F. Correia International Airport to Johan Adolf Pengel International Airport. This expansion marks a first for CAL, providing vital links between Trinidad, Guyana, and Suriname.

CAL's initiative underscores its commitment to fostering trade, tourism, and collaboration across the Caribbean, offering seamless connections within the region. With this strategic expansion, Caribbean Airlines continues to strengthen ties that drive regional growth and unity.
