IBC Suriname 2025 Launched!

SGCC Vice-Chair on IBC 2025

SGCC Vice Chairman Derrick Klaverweide emphasized the conference's purpose as a platform for strengthening business strategies, regional partnerships, and financial opportunities. He recognized the vital role of the Suriname Investment and Trade Agency (SITA), noting that IBC offers a pivotal opportunity to forge networks that could reshape Suriname’s business landscape. “IBC is a vital platform to showcase regional growth,” Mr. Klaverweide stated, urging international and local businesses to seize the unique networking potential.

SGCC CEO Gives Key Insights

Highlighting SGCC’s rapid growth – surpassing 100 members since the Chamber’s launch in 2023, and its commitment to structured, value-driven events, Rahul Lildhar, SGCC CEO, noted the Chamber’s focus on maximizing value for its members, citing a 50% discount for SGCC members on delegate passes. IBC 2025 will include 15 sessions, with 100 speakers and over 5,000 delegates, promising targeted B2B networking and sessions covering critical topics like compliance, tax policies, local content, and industry innovation. SGCC’s IBC app, which facilitated 1,000+ B2B meetings in 2024, will return, allowing attendees to schedule meetings, view event data, and manage schedules, ensuring optimized engagement.
